As a musician, I am amazed to find chimes tuned to various scales and their tone is unlike any other windchime. Our first one 10 years ago was for our August anniversary with an engraving on the back about family harmony. We have moved twice since then and the two Grace Notes go up first. The E minor 7/11 by our bedroom and the lower G major 6/9 outside the living room. My 76 year old father is receiving a baritone Grace Note for Christmas because that's where the majority of his hearing remains. Care
These chimes are intended for outdoor use and will provide years of enjoyment with little or no maintenance. Our Petite, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, Super, Deluxe and Steeple Chimes now feature recycled composite lumber strikers. Composite lumber is not only environmentally friendly it also creates a softer contact sound when applied to wind chime tubing. These strikers are not subject to drying or cracking and require no maintenance.
In corrosive environments, like coastal areas, the chimes will maintain a high luster if treated semi-annually with a protective lubricant such as gun oil or silicon spray. If cleaning is desired, we suggest that you use a nonmetallic scouring pad. Do not use steel wool. Chimes made prior to 2004 are guaranteed against breakage for 5 years. All chimes made after 2004 will carry a 10 year guarantee due to product improvements. ENJOY!

Although exposure to harsh elements will eventually affect even the highest quality materials. That is why Grace Note Windchimes offer a complete windchime repair. Their repair includes new strings, wooden striker, windplate, rebrushed tubes and new top ring, basically your chime comes back to you just like brand new. Once your chime is received it is repaired promptly and shipped back to you. Breeze and Mariah chimes with 3/8" rod or 7/16" tube cannot be repaired.
